2025 | ENIGMA – Museum of Communication × DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation)
To develop the visual identity and campaign materials for the exhibition NØØØJ – det’ for børn, developed by ENIGMA – Museum of Communication in collaboration with DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) – ensuring a clear, child-friendly and recognizable visual expression across print and digital formats, under tight deadlines and high pressure.
Working closely with the Museum Director, Head of Communication, and Head of Programs and Exhibitions, I co-developed the visual identity as part of a tight collaborative process. I proposed and presented two distinct visual directions: one focused on immediate readability and accessibility, the other on atmosphere and mood. The team chose the more immediately legible direction, which formed the foundation for all campaign materials.
Deliverables included campaign materials for print and SoMe, animated poster formats for SoMe, and large-scale window graphics for ENIGMA’s façade and external locations. I was also present at the exhibition opening – receiving and handling incoming exhibition content the day before, assisting with signage installation, and supporting the broader team during the final push to opening day.
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Canva, Adobe Express, InDesign, Photoshop.
A complete visual identity and campaign suite – print, digital, animated and large-format – deployed across ENIGMA’s physical space and social media platforms for the exhibition launch. The identity was developed and delivered under significant time pressure in close collaboration with museum leadership and the DR team.
This project taught me what it really means to design under institutional pressure – when leadership, external partners and a hard opening date are all in the room at once. Proposing two visual directions and arguing for one of them was a formative experience: it pushed me to articulate not just what something looks like, but why it works. Being present on opening day – helping hang signage, receive exhibition content and support the team – also reminded me that design does not end at delivery. The work lives in a physical space, with real visitors, and that changes how you think about every decision you made along the way.
