Visual Identity for Event Series in collaboration with Røde Kors & TrygFonden

KRISE!

2025 | ENIGMA – Museum of Communication × Røde Kors × Trygfonden

GOAL

To develop a complete visual identity for KRISE!, an event series on crisis preparedness in collaboration with Røde Kors (Danish Red Cross) & TrygFonden – under a tight deadline of 2–3 days.

PROCESS & TOOLS

The process started with research into how crises are defined and communicated visually. Two moodboards were developed and iterated before landing on a final direction balancing urgency with approachability. The identity included a color palette, typography, custom icon set, graphic elements and adaptable templates for print and digital. A Canva template system was built to ensure long-term usability for the internal team.

Tools: Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, Canva.

OUTCOME

The identity received highly positive feedback and was approved for presentation to Røde Kors. Have been actively used at ENIGMA across all KRISE! events – covering panel debates and live talks.

REFLECTIONS

The 2–3 day deadline forced me to trust my first instincts more than I usually do – and they held up. I learned that urgency can actually sharpen a concept rather than compromise it. The most interesting design challenge was balancing seriousness with accessibility: the identity had to feel grounded in real crisis communication, not alarming or clinical. I would have loved more time to explore imagery and the icon set.

This is the final visual identity of the project, presented through mockups to bring the design to life and clearly convey the intended look and feel.
