To transform historical archive material into accessible, engaging digital narratives — and strengthen ENIGMA’s visual identity for consistent use across digital and physical platforms.
The work began with deep dives into the museum’s archives to identify stories worth telling. Content was adapted for Instagram Stories and Reels using formats audiences already knew (e.g. Spotify Wrapped-inspiration for the Dommedags-spilleliste series). Simultaneously, the design system was audited and restructured – developing primary/secondary logo variants, a refined color palette and scalable templates. A system was built for internal use by the museum team.

A measurable increase in engagement and interaction across the museum’s digital platforms. A refined visual identity and scalable system handed over for long-term internal use. Content series around the Enigma machine, the PostNord/postal history moment, and the Kommunikation i Krise exhibition.
Working inside a cultural institution taught me that storytelling is most powerful when it connects historical material to present-day emotion – not just information. I was surprised by how much a single strong concept (the Dommedags-spilleliste) could carry an entire content series.
Selected digital content was produced for Instagram Stories. Some older photographs were sourced from the museum’s archive and revitalized. Custom social media labels were designed for the stories, allowing followers to easily distinguish between the museum’s different exhibitions.

I created a video series for the museum’s installation “Dommedags-spilleliste” in the exhibition “Kommunikation i krise”
Visitors contributed songs they would take to doomsday, and I compiled, organized, and ranked the submissions to create a top 10 list. The videos were inspired by Spotify’s wrap-up format and adapted to reflect the museum’s color scheme and visual identity.
I also produced a video for the museum’s children’s area, showing how to make postal stamps in an engaging and visually clear way.
As part of the new design system, I refined ENIGMA’s visual identity to improve clarity, scalability and consistency across platforms.
The goal was not to reinvent the logo, but to strengthen its usability and ensure flexible implementation across print, digital and spatial applications.
